The global Information Technology (IT) Function is leading efforts to align IT and Business Strategy, leverage IT investments, and optimize end to end business processes and associated information integration technologies.  Through these efforts, IT helps to improve the competitive position of Corning's businesses through IT enabled processes.  IT also delivers Information Technology applications, infrastructure, and project services in a cost efficient manner to Corning worldwide.

Key Responsibilities Build SAP technology Supply Chain solutions in conjunction with SAP and Non-SAP components Design, set-up, and test prototype and production Supply Chain solutions and ensure that all the pieces work together seamlessly Work with the Corning’s PP/APO DevOps project team, Businesses, Business Engagement, Service Line Owner, to create stand-out supply chain offerings powered by SAP Understand Supply chain problems in the areas of Planning and propose end state architecture and work closely with the IBP dev/ops team Develop strong relationships with stakeholders and gain the trust of key advisors Continue to learn and develop your technical SAP and business expertise Travel may be required for this role. The amount of travel will vary from 15% depending on business need and requirements Experiences/Education - Required Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Information Technology or related field  Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in Solution Design, end-to-end architecting with SAP APO and ECC (or S/4) with in-depth knowledge of SAP Best Practices and trends Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience with solution design activities for APO projects Excellent communication and written skills to aid in RICEF creation and design document creation Proven track record of working in DevOps teams, projects, upgrades, and deployments

 

Required Skills

Plan to Produce (PTP) / PP – Ability to demonstrate SAP (ECC or S/4) Processes for Plan to Produce APO Demand Planning – experience with process chains, macros, planning books, planning areas Experience with CIF, Core processing, troubleshooting and fixing errors Knowledge of Function Modules and User Exits related to the CIF, as well as LiveCache including troubleshooting data issues Experiences/Education - Desired Plan-to-Produce stream - Ability to demonstrate SAP ECC processes in Plan to Produce Experience in PP (Production Planning) and APO (Advanced Planning Optimizer) Management) implementation & customizing Strong knowledge in setting up various kinds of planning processes and integration with other planning solutions like SAP IBP and third-party planning solutions Experience in dealing with key integration areas procurement, supply chain, warehouse management Conduct working sessions with business users as required to clarify requirements or troubleshoot issues Work in Corning’s ITSM related applications like ServiceNow, Teams, Cloud ALM, Signavio, Sharepoint, SAP Solution Manager

The range for this position is $87,652.00 - $120,522.00 assuming full time status. Starting pay for the successful applicant is dependent on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education. The benefits available for this position are dependent on hours worked and may include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, pension plan, life insurance coverage, disability benefits, and PTO.
