SHI has an exciting opportunity available as an IT Sr. Project Manager. The Sr. Project Manager will lead and manage large complex IT projects impacting various business units.  The Sr. Project Manager is responsible for leading project engagements to define scope, gather requirements, business functionality, process documentation, and any other documents required by product owners and architects to design a solution to meet business needs.

 

This position will report to a Director within the IT PMO. This position is Hybrid and will be required to be in the Austin or New Jersey headquarter offices.

Included, but are not limited to the following:

Leading project engagements to define scope, gather requirements, business functionality, process documentation, and any other documents required to ensure a full understanding of the business need being requested.Identify product owners and IT teams supporting the applications and processes impacted by the IT projects to complete initial sizing.Coordinate with multiple stakeholders and business units on large projects to help define and refine requirements, act as a subject matter expert when defining a solution, and coordinating user acceptance criteria.Align all stakeholders, collaborators, business owners, and approvers on project deliverables, timelines, and costs.Conducting project kick offs and creating a project schedule to ensure that the project is executed on time and on budget.Assembly of the project team based on scope and expertise, establishing roles and responsibilities, and then coordinating resources throughout the engagement to ensure tasks are executed appropriately.Communicating status updates which include action items, issues and risks as well as developing and facilitating mitigation plans.Executing change requests to project scope, schedule, and or cost as needed.Acting as the single point of contact for any issues or escalations throughout the project.Conducting project close activities to confirm deliverables were achieved. Recommends and updates policies and procedures improving business efficiencies.Enhance workflow and cross departmental engagement. Qualifications Completed Bachelor's degree.10+ years of direct project management experience8+ years of experience successfully managing multiple, complex, projects at one timeExperience working on Data Center planning and integration projectsExperience working on End User Computing projectsExperience working on network integration projectsProficiency in MS office tools – Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project Required Skills Ability to translate a desired result into actionable business and/or technical requiremenAbility to evaluate a process, and recognize areas for improvement.Ability to investigate a problem, find the root cause, and define a solution.Ability to take ownership of, and manage several projects at the same time.Strong written and verbal communication skills, being able to effectively communicate will all. levels of users, from entry level positions to C-level leadership.Strong attention to detail.Excellent organizational, multitasking, and follow up skills.Ability to work collaboratively within a team to execute on shared deadlines and goals

Preferred Qualifications

Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent Experience with Asana and JiraExperience in Waterfall & Agile methodologies Unique Requirements Technology Industry experienceProduct Management backgroundUnderstanding of the complexities of various systems to perform day-to-day responsibilities (MS Dynamics, Professional Services Automation systems, etc.)  Additional Information The estimated annual pay range for this position is $110,000 - $150,000 which includes a base salary and bonus. The compensation for this position is dependent on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location and, therefore, will vary from individual to individual.
