The Division of Administration/Office of Technology Services/End User Computing has a vacancy. This job title has an assigned pay grade of TS-315. (Req. 206179).
This vacancy will be filled by by promotion of a current permanent status classified Office of Technology Services employee. A current classified permanent status Office of Technology Services employee may be required to serve a new probationary period in lieu of promotion.

Minimum Qualifications
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Six years of experience in information technology, project management, business analysis or administrative services; OR
Six years of full-time work experience in any field plus four years of experience in information technology, project management, business analysis or administrative services; OR
An associate's degree in information technology plus four years of experience in information technology, project management, business analysis or administrative services; OR
A bachelor’s degree plus four years of experience in information technology, project management, business analysis or administrative services; OR
A bachelor’s degree with twenty-four semester hours in an information technology, computer science, engineering, mathematics, or business analytics field plus three years of experience in information technology, project management, business analysis or administrative services; OR
A master's degree plus three years of experience in information technology, project management, business analysis or administrative services.
EXPERIENCE SUBSTITUTION:
Every 30 semester hours earned from an accredited college or university will be credited as one year of experience towards the six years of full-time work experience in any field. The maximum substitution allowed is 120 semester hours which substitutes for a maximum of four years of experience in any field.
NOTE:
A certification in an approved area may be substituted for the education and/or experience requirements at the time of hire or promotion, provided the appointment is made from a Certificate of Eligibles.

The Office of Technology Services will work to increase the return on the State's investment in technology by promoting smart decision-making, solving problems intelligently, increasing the rate of project success, and fostering a skilled and professional staff.
Incumbent of this position reports to the EUC IT Statewide Manager 2. EUC is the first point of contact for all statewide IT incidents, issues and requests from more than 30,000 users and devices in 720+ locations. EUC services are divided into 5 core areas of concentration including; Field Operations, Advanced Remote Support, End User Technology, Incident and Ops Management, and Communications and Network Services. Incumbent of this position in End User Technology – Asset Management.
30%Asset Database Management - Acts as the first point of contact for maintaining and updating asset records in Ivanti. Performs tasks such as removing duplicate or outdated records, correcting mismatched data, importing bulk data, creating new records for replacement devices, and verifying device statuses, user information, and locations. Updates device records with relevant notes, modifies or corrects billing codes for accurate invoicing, and ensures records are current with information from DFS. Completes lease equipment update tasks and reconciles Dell ARS wipe and settlement reports. Verifies data for items to be disposed of or returned to Dell. Creates and updates new equipment catalog items and performs advanced Excel tasks for data management and reporting.
3 0 %Data Analysis - Utilizes advanced data analysis to support asset and billing accuracy. Reviews and reconciles billing and charge confirmations. Calculates credits due, processes buyout quotes, and creates reports for data verification and progress tracking. Assesses devices updated by field technicians and marked for audit. Participates in data verification activities, ensuring all asset and user data align with established standards and are ready for reporting and invoicing. Supports accurate reconciliation of Dell reports and contributes to process improvement by analyzing data trends and identifying inconsistencies.
25%Hardware and/or Software Management - Performs updates and modifications to device statuses in Absolute, including marking devices as stolen, frozen, or missing. Troubleshoots advanced hardware and software issues associated with asset management. Acts as a technical lead for system implementations, providing feedback to field technicians and collaborating with technical teams to address system discrepancies. Occasionally provides warehouse support, including handling physical assets and assisting with inventory tasks. Manages AMT mailbox communications, ensuring timely responses to hardware or software related inquiries.
10%Agency/Vendor Liaison - Functions as the primary agency contact for AMT resources and serves as a liaison between agency personnel, vendors, and the technical team. Grants user access to AMT resources and completes tickets assigned to AMT. Communicates with agencies to reconcile charges, resolve disputes, and ensure alignment with invoicing and reporting requirements. Collaborates with vendors such as Dell to coordinate updates, returns, and settlement processes. Participates in meetings to ensure all vendors and customers are aligned on project progress and deliverables.
5%Other Duties - Performs all other tasks, special projects, analyses, studies, and plans as directed. Supports continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to streamline processes or enhance asset management systems. Participates in ongoing training to remain updated on best practices.
