IT Support Analyst

Job Overview:

 

As an IT Support Analyst, you’ll be responsible for supporting end user technology to maintain 100% availability of all IT related systems and software to help deliver improved profitability and exceptional customer service to our clients.

 

This hybrid role is available at our Suburban Corporate office located in Hoffman Estates, Illinois. This role requires occasional travel to our downtown Chicago corporate office.

 

Your Responsibilities:

Provide exceptional technical support to end users, resolving issues with efficiency and empathy. Conduct user training sessions to empower employees with the knowledge they need to provide exceptional customer service to our residents and stakeholders. Manage user accounts and permissions within Active Directory/Microsoft Entra, ensuring secure access. Administer Microsoft 365, Exchange, SharePoint, Teams, Microsoft Defender, Microsoft Purview and Microsoft Entra, maintaining optimal performance. Support Citrix desktops, applications, and VPNs, ensuring seamless remote access. Manage mobile devices through Intune and Desktop Central. Support and administer SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams Phone/Teams Room Conferencing, and the company intranet. Manage the maintenance of hardware (desktops, laptops, printers, and peripherals) and software, ensuring optimal performance. Oversee asset management, including asset lifecycle and device refresh initiatives. Document all work in the ServiceDesk system promptly, accurately, and with sufficient detail, ensuring follow-up until resolution, and complete all tickets assigned. Utilize remote support tools (e.g., GoToResolve, Manage Engine) for efficient issue resolution. Effectively communicate with team members, associates, and leadership regarding task-relevant information. Participate in regional and national IT initiatives and projects, contributing to strategic goals.

Skills & Qualifications:

Associate’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field, or at least three (3) years of transferrable work experience preferred. 1-3 years’ experience working in Information Technology or a related field. Active CompTIA certification is required. Active certifications in CompTIA Network Plus and CompTIA Security Plus strongly preferred. Active certifications in Microsoft 365, Microsoft: Azure Fundamentals, and Microsoft: Azure Administrator Associate. Works effectively with coworkers, clients, customers, and others by sharing ideas in a constructive and positive manner; addresses problems and issues constructively to find mutually acceptable and practical business solutions.  Must possess a high energy attitude and an ability to multi-task/prioritize different projects at any given time. Superior oral and written communication skills.

Compensation

 

$ 50000 - $ 55000 / year
