Job Description

We are seeking an IT Support Specalist for an 8-month contract in Denver, CO.  This role will work onsite/ in the office schedule, in the Cherry Creek area- Monday- Friday from 8:00 am- 5:00 pm.

In this role, you will be the front-line IT support interfacing with business users on service requests, investigating and evaluating problems, resolving when possible, or escalating to staff for further resolution. Responsibilities include:

Monitoring service desk requests, elevating required service levels, negotiating completion dates, and ensuring follow-through on hardware problems, equipment and software purchasesRollout, inventory maintenance, problem resolution, and coordination of equipment replacement schedule.Expand user functionality in alignment with department goalsResolve user-related problems, assist with the development of solutions, and ensure adequate training for all Division users.Leads the implementation of new applications and monitors/evaluates the effectiveness of new applicationsRespond to user technology issues, diagnose hardware malfunction Assist employees with configuration of newly deployed hardware Provides direct technical assistance to staff in using new and existing software, hardware, and applications. 

 

QualificationsBachelor's degree from an accredited institution in a field of study related to the work assignment and 2 years of professional experience in an IT Support role  OR  additional appropriate experience will substitute for the degree requirement on a year-for-year basis. 

 

Additional Information

This 8-month contract role will work onsite/ in the office schedule, in the Cherry Creek area- Monday- Friday from 8:00 am- 5:00 pm.  This role will pay between $30-$32 per hour.
