We are seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented IT Support Specialist to join our team and ensure that our IT systems are functioning at their best.
Responsibilities
As an IT Support Specialist, your duties will include, but are not limited to:
Classification of tickets/requests from customers in the company ticketing systemFollowing SOP and instructions to ensure smooth operationsInstalling and configuring computer hardware, software, systems, printers, and scannersMonitoring and maintaining computer systems to ensure they operate efficiently and effectivelyResponding in a timely manner to service issues and requests, both in person and over the phoneProviding technical support across the defined IT Region (ITR12)Setting up accounts for new users and assisting with onboarding processesRepairing and replacing equipment as necessary to ensure functionalityTesting new technology and implementing upgrades as neededAdhering to and complying with internal Key Guidance Documents (KGD), such as (but not limited to):Password PolicyNaming ConventionsMobile Device Management PolicyOrganisation of IT at EurofinsCEE IT Infrastructure internal rulesOccasional travel to Eurofins sites to support IT systems and infrastructureManaging work schedules and tracking time effectively to ensure productivityPerforming other tasks as directed by your Line Manager or Functional Manager, as required by the nature of your position.Qualifications
To be successful in this role, the ideal candidate should have:
Proven experience in IT support or similar rolesStrong understanding of IT systems, hardware, and softwareExcellent communication skills, both verbal and writtenAbility to work independently and as part of a teamA technical, logical thought process and excellent problem-solving skillsThe ability to stick to strict deadlines and manage time effectivelyStrong prioritisation and delegation abilitiesA keen eye for detail to ensure accuracy in troubleshooting and installationsWillingness to travel: Open and happy to travel once every 1-2 months to Turkey (Izmir) for a full week (direct flight from Budapest available)Languages: Proficiency in English and Hungarian is a must. Any additional languages from the CEE region will be considered a plus.Physical Requirements:
