IT Support Specialist

Position Summary
Provide IT help desk support to include support for desktops, laptops, peripherals, and mobile devices. Record, process, and resolve all user incident/requests using the organization's established IT ticketing system.
Duties & Responsibilities
+ Provide IT technical support expertise to include user permissions, desktop support, troubleshooting, imaging, patches/updates, user training, and peripheral support.
+ Test/validate all changes, to include performance of all security compliance testing.
+ Log and update requests/incidents in approved ticketing system.
+ Perform a variety of clerical duties as assigned

Education & Experience Requirements
+ 3 years related experience
+ CompTIA Security+ or equivalent certification
+ Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance; you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
+ Clearance Level: Top Secret
Skill & Certification Requirements
+ Microsoft operating system
+ IT desktop, laptop, and peripheral support
+ CompTIA Security+
+ Microsoft Technical Certification
+ DoD Security Clearance required: Top Secret
+ May require lifting of 20-50 lbs.
+ Extended telephone use
+ Position requires sitting for long periods of time. (Sedentary Work)
+ Most duties require use of a keyboard and computer monitor
