IT Support Specialist III

Responsibilities

Proactive, motivated and have a genuine passion for IT and customer serviceMicrosoft 365 administration, installation and troubleshootingAdvanced software installation and troubleshootingResolve escalated software issues pertaining to Windows 10 and Engineering SoftwareMicrosoft Active Directory Group Policy managementAssign/manage/troubleshoot NTFS file access permissionsAssign/manage/troubleshoot SharePoint access permissionsAssign/manage/troubleshoot remote accessAnalyse user requests to implement innovative enterprise-wide solutions that increase efficiency and user experienceTroubleshoot and resolve Engineering software issues, network licensing, installs, patch updates and upgradesEnsure quick response times to facilitate maximum uptime for all users and systemsConfigure, deploy, fix, and provide troubleshooting support based on either documented procedures or directive for the following hardware and software:Desktop, Laptop, and Tablet ComputersNetwork Printers and Print ServerTelecommunication Systems – IP Phones & wireless including Apple iPhones and iPadsAD administration functions such as password resets, add/remove/change permissions on Active Directory and Email Accounts based on established workflowsTroubleshoot and escalate network issues to Infrastructure Team/ IT Support ManagerAssist users with supported software and hardware with the approach of understanding of technology from a user’s perspective while providing an expert level of supportEscalate unknown/unsolved issues to appropriate internal or external support resourcesMaintain, track, and control related inventoryCollaborate with co-workers to share expertise, information and solve problemsExperience with Audio/Video is a plus.Other duties as assigned by Team Lead/Manager

 

Required Skills and Experience

Minimum 4 years of IT experience supporting company size of 500+ employees.Willingness to learn new processes and technologies.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Understands the importance of confidentiality.Great attention to detail.Ability to effectively use and troubleshoot MS Office 365 applications, including advanced Excel and Outlook skills.Ability to independently analyse and solve problems. Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with all levels in the organization.Ability to work with, train, and lead fellow technicians.Experience with the following software and hardware: Active Directory, GPO Management, Exchange 365, Office 365, SharePoint Online, WAN/LAN topology, TCP/IP, Antivirus, various wireless services & equipment supportPrevious experience with ticketing systemsExcellent AD/LDAP knowledgeExpert working knowledge of all Microsoft Windows and Mac OS & Office technologies.Experience creating a high level of user satisfaction through accurate and timely follow-up & strong technical skills.Must demonstrate superior organization and time management skills.Zoom administrative experience preferred.

Microsoft or CompTIA certificates in relevant technologiesAssociates degree or higher in a technology fieldPhysical and/or Additional RequirementsMust be able to work flexible hours outside of normal business hours. Be part of on call rotationHybrid role 4 days in the office; 1 day remote. Must be able to stand for extended periods.Must be able to stoop, bend, crawl, and being able to maneuver in tight spaces.Ability to routinely lift 20-30 lbs. and occasionally lift and move 40 lbs (unassisted).Must be a “U.S. person” as defined by the ITAR (22 CFR §120.15).

 

The annual U.S. base salary range for this full-time position is $64,480.00–$92,560.00. The base pay actually offered will vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, location, and experience and take into account internal equity. Other forms of pay (e.g., bonus or long term incentive) may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and other benefits, dependent on the position offered.
