  IT Support Specialist

Position Summary 

Under direct leadership, the IT Support Specialist will be responsible for efficient and reliable operation of computer and network infrastructure to promote efficient business operations. Success in this role is predicated on a blend of technical aptitude and exemplary customer service. You will be the primary point of contact to ensure that day to day IT requests are handled promptly and thoroughly, in a manner that demonstrates, “Everything is Important.” 

This position is on-site full time in Torrance, CA.
 

Essential Functions 

Administers Microsoft 365 environment, including Outlook, Teams, SharePoint and OneDrive Configures, deploys, and troubleshoots Windows and Mac systems Configures and manages software via Intune Sets up and troubleshoots network printers Administers Microsoft Azure environment, including computer and user objects in Azure Active Directory Installs and configures automotive specific diagnostic and tuning applications. Manages client endpoint security and email gateway spam filter Organizes and maintains internal knowledge base Performs local and remote software installations and version upgrades Performs troubleshooting and performance analysis of wired and wireless networks Applies knowledge of security best practices to systems and network infrastructure Manages IT supply inventory and orders new stock Demonstrates best in class customer service and effective written and verbal communication Performs other duties as assigned

 

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, technology, or related field Three to five plus years relevant work experience in Information Technology Hands-on experience in computer network, network administration, and installation  

Preferred Qualifications

Knowledge of automated deployment systems Expertise in the following areas is preferred: AzureAD, Intune, JIRA, AWS, network storage, scripting via PowerShell  

Skills/Abilities and Attributes 

Extensive knowledge of hardware and software systems  Knowledge of the best practices in the industry  Working knowledge of SharePoint setup and permissions configuration  Working knowledge of SSO setup and configuration  Familiarity with JAMF, Mimecast, Carbon Black and Meraki  Understanding of Universal Print/Canon uniFLOW  Effective time management skills with the ability to prioritize activities effectively to ensure competing priorities are appropriately triaged and handled in an acceptable time frame?  Team oriented, with a strong ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment to deadlines  Effective written and verbal communications skills; ability to express ideas clearly and actively listen to others  Positive attitude and strong work ethic 
Physical Demands/Work Environment
  Must possess the ability to speak clearly and distinctly and hear and be understood in person and by telephone Must be able to work in a seated position for extended periods Frequently required to stand, walk, bend, twist, squat, stoop or kneel. Must be able to look at computer monitors and use keyboard and mouse for extended periods Compensation
The starting salary range for this position is between $69,680.00 - $87,100 per year, plus an annual bonus plan. Actual compensation will be determined by skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
