Summary/Objective
The IT Support Technician is responsible for providing help desk and remote support of office and store PC, Network, Fuel Dispenser and Electronic equipment.
Responsibilities
Organize and prioritize daily schedule based on assigned service requests.Remote store support and troubleshooting of point of sale, network, fuel and electronic equipment.Rutter’s headquarters help desk and onsite support of PC’s, peripherals and networking equipment.Position requires participating in an on-call rotation period. This on call period includes nights, weekends and holidays. The rotation time could change based on business needs.Respond to phone calls, emails and texts in a timely and professional way both during regular working hours and while on-call.Assure that follow up activities are communicated back to store management and or user as well as dispatcher and supervisor.Communicate repetitive and ongoing problems to the appropriate management personnel.Install software upgrades and new systems as they are developed and implemented.Test new software, hardware and systems prior to implementation.Perform preventative maintenance on HQ computer and peripheral equipment.
Preferred Education and Experience
High school diploma/GED required. Associates degree in Computer Technology or Information Technology preferred.Experience in a convenience store a plusEEO Statement
