IT Support Technician Onsite-Muscatine, IA *3rd Shift position, Monday-Friday 4pm-12am. Technical Skills + Troubleshooting + Help Desk + Desktop Support + Hardware + O365 + Windows + Ticketing System + Remote Support Description Our team is looking for a LEVEL 2, IT Support Technician for an ongoing project within an enterprise IT team, supporting operations (and occasionally project needs) for the smaller manufacturing plant in Muscatine, IA. On a day-to-day basis this technician will be assisting end-users, onsite with issues related to hardware, software, Office 365, mail, passwords, functionality and general enterprise support for Windows Enterprise, Microsoft Office Suite, and other various manufacturing related technology. This technician will be taking on the bulk of the L1 Service Desk calls and freeing up other technicians for project based work (upgrades, implementations etc.) In 2025 production is increasing, as a result the team needs to better support overnight operations. The IT Technician will be the sole point of contact across 3 production sites during the overnight shift. Responsibilities + Primarily Service Desk and Desktop support for local users, mostly written ticket requests responding to a shared queue. + End-Users are factory and office workers at the Muscatine IA location. + Most calls go to Help Desk at Greene, and are rerouted to this location. + Level 1 & 2 IT Support. + Phone call/ticket, call customer and basic PC/network troubleshooting. + Image and upgrade computers. + Re-image existing builds. + Windows OS upgrades. + Set up user profiles and user specific programs. + Support and troubleshoot printers and labelers. + Provide Application Support. + Work within Active Directory to manage account profiles. + Create and install network cables. Examples of Tickets + "My outlook isn't working" + "I need a computer upgrade" + "My devices aren't working in the field" + "My mouse isn't working" + Printer Troubleshooting Training The Primary Training Plan for the first Month is as followed: + Shadow and respond to tickets to learn internal processes. + Learn the ticketing systems by entering and responding to tickets. + Gain experience with answering help desk calls and routing tickets.
