Role Overview

Provide technical support for end-users and troubleshoot any technical issues. Maintain and monitor the organization's network, including VPN and remote desktop services. Implement and maintain security measures to ensure the protection of company data. Collaborate with the IT team to enhance system performance and recommend hardware upgrades. Document all system processes and procedures for future reference. Assist with data storage management and disaster recovery planning. Stay up-to-date on emerging technologies and make recommendations for implementation. Communicate effectively with remote team members to resolve technical issues and provide advanced support.

Skills & Qualifications

Advanced problem-solving skills to troubleshoot technical issues. Expertise in network storage, server solutions, and networking technologies. Proficiency in VPN and remote access technologies. Experience managing Azure environments. Knowledge of anti-malware/security software and SOC 2 compliance. Understanding of emerging technologies and ability to develop technical vision. Familiarity with ITIL best practices. Strong communication skills for collaboration with a remote team.

Education & Experience

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field preferred. ITIL or relevant Microsoft certifications advantageous. Minimum 3 years of experience in network maintenance, infrastructure planning, Cisco networking, Windows server maintenance, Microsoft networking technologies, and Office 365 management.
