IT Support Technician

Purpose of the Role

As IT Support Technician you will support the company’s IT systems and its users. The role involves prompt resolving of incidents and service requests raised via the ServiceNow helpdesk system remotely or by attending site. Regular UK wide site visits are also expected as part of this role.

Main Responsibilities

As IT Support Technician, you will support end users locally and remotely with laptops, desktops, printers, mobile devices, tablets and networking issues. The role also includes asset management and maintenance along with call logging updates and resolution. As IT Support Technician you will also communicate Cyber Security Awareness and prompt escalations/resolution of incidents relating to Cyber Security.

The role will also need to regularly interact and interface with Internal and external customers, client IT Teams, leadership teams and third party suppliers.

The Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate will be a team player with a flexible and dynamic approach to solving problems and designing solutions. You will have experience in a similar role supporting on cloud and SAAS based IT Systems, supporting MDM solutions, a knowledge of Active Directory, Virtual platforms and backup technologies. 

You will also hold relevant technical certifications and have experience in using and supporting Powerapps based products. The position will be based in various locations within the UK with occasional site visits as and when required.
