Location: Bethlehem, PA

Duration: Ongoing contract, starting as 9 months but most likely continually extended

Rate: 25/hr

Key Responsibilities:

Provide desktop support for hardware and software issues, ensuring efficient resolution of technical problems.Perform break/fix troubleshooting for desktops, laptops, printers, and other end-user devices, addressing and resolving issues promptly.Install, configure, and upgrade operating systems and applications for end-user devices.Assist with setting up, configuring, and maintaining workstations, ensuring they meet user requirements and organizational standards.Respond to and resolve IT support tickets, providing timely updates to users and documenting solutions.Troubleshoot and resolve network connectivity issues, including Wi-Fi, VPN, and local network problems.Provide support for printers, scanners, and other peripherals, ensuring they are operational and addressing any issues as they arise.Perform routine maintenance tasks such as system updates, antivirus scans, and hardware checks.Work closely with the IT team to ensure the smooth operation of all technology systems.Provide remote support as needed for users working from various locations.Assist with IT asset management, including tracking inventory and ensuring proper disposal of outdated equipment.

Required:

3+ years experience in a similar role. Proven experience in desktop support and break/fix troubleshooting.Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems (Windows 10, Windows 11) and common software applications (Microsoft Office, etc.).Experience with hardware diagnostics, repair, and installation (desktops, laptops, printers, etc.).Familiarity with networking concepts, including troubleshooting Wi-Fi, VPN, and LAN connectivity issues.
