• Software Programming & Deployment: Perform software programming, testing, and deployment of medium to large-scale software applications.
• Agile Development: Conduct Agile processes to incrementally develop applications.
• Web Development: Previous experience in Java, Python, Groovy, Grails, HTML, JSON, XML, and web services.
• Cloud & Network Administration: Perform network administration for cloud-based environments (AWS, etc.), ensuring compliance with ConMon and cybersecurity standards.
• Database Architecture & Administration: Architect, develop, and administer databases, including SQL-based systems and data lake solutions.
• Cybersecurity Monitoring: Ensure continuous monitoring (ConMon) compliance, troubleshoot vulnerability scans, and apply security patches for cloud-based resources.
• User Account Management: Create, manage, and maintain user accounts via Windows Active Directory (AD), including password resets and access control.
• Empower Administration: Administer Empower, ensuring timely and accurate reporting for program managers and overseeing system maintenance.
• IPM Central Repository Administration: Maintain and administer the Integrated Performance Management (IPM) Central Repository, ensuring data accuracy and system security.
Work Environment:
• Location: Primarily on-site with potential for hybrid work arrangements.
• Travel Requirements: Minimal.
• Working Hours: Standard business hours with some flexibility for urgent tasks.
Qualifications:
Required:
• Security+ Certification: Required for privileged users to ensure Information Assurance (IA) compliance.
• Degree: A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a similar computer-oriented field.
• Clearance: TS/SCI with a Polygraph clearance.
• Experience: 4-8 years of relevant experience in IT system administration, cloud services, and software development.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in software languages (Java, Python, Groovy, Grails, HTML, JSON, XML), web development, and cloud-based networking (AWS, etc.).
Desired:
• Database Management Experience: Experience with SQL and data lake solutions.
• Agile Methodology Experience: Familiarity with Agile development processes.
• PowerShell Scripting: Experience writing and maintaining Windows PowerShell scripts for systems management.
• Earned Value Management (EVM) Knowledge: Experience with IPM, EVM tools, and reporting systems.
• Cybersecurity Tools Experience: Familiarity with cybersecurity monitoring tools such as SNOW and Tenable.
