Job Description
As an IT Systems Analyst, you will act as a subject matter expert for Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and other business systems. You will collaborate with key stakeholders to gather and document business requirements, analyze existing processes, and identify areas for improvement in technology and/or processes. Your role will involve translating business needs into clear and actionable functional/technical requirements to deliver information technology solutions. Additionally, you will test, train, and support business-related information technology requirements and systems. Your responsibilities will include researching and analyzing user’s business requirements, technical specifications, and writing test plans in support of business functions, process knowledge, and system requirements.
ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with key stakeholders to gather and document business requirements, analyze existing processes, and identify areas for improvement.Translate business needs into clear and actionable functional/technical requirements to deliver information technology solutions.Research and analyze user’s business requirements, technical specifications, and write test plans in support of business functions, process knowledge, and system requirements.Perform data analysis and reporting: Analyze complex datasets, perform data mapping, and develop meaningful insights to support decision-making processes. Create and deliver comprehensive reports and recommendations to stakeholders at all levels.Support organizational change initiatives by facilitating communication, training, and user adoption activities. Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure smooth transition and successful implementation of new processes and systems.Assist in project planning, scheduling, and monitoring activities. Track project milestones, deliverables, and dependencies to ensure timely completion and adherence to project scope.Accountable for delivery of solutions (Business Process), plus the architecture and documentation within their area of technical expertise.Establish methods to monitor and improve performance of systems and processes.Identify deficiencies in IT systems/processes and recommend solutions/areas for improvement.Understand business impact; create and communicate decisions impacting the wider business, effectively managing customer expectations.Essential Skills4-year University/College Degree and significant technical/business certifications.3-5 years’ experience in Information Technology.Solid knowledge of business and ERP processes in a complex manufacturing environment.Prior experience with SAP or Infor Visual ERP is a plus.Experience in handling business processes for manufacturing, finance, and supply chain.Proficient in IT life-cycle management methodologies, including design, development, testing, project management, and change management.Excellent written and verbal communication and collaboration skills.Demonstrate effective decision-making and critical thinking skills.Proficient in analyzing and documenting complex business processes.Ability to travel as needed.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience in the manufacturing industry and operations.Knowledge of SAP ERP, process improvement, business intelligence (BI), and ERP reporting.Experience with BI analytics.Work Environment
This role involves working in a complex manufacturing environment where you will engage with various stakeholders to implement and support ERP and other business systems. You will utilize advanced technologies and methodologies to improve business processes and systems. The position may require travel as needed to support various projects and initiatives.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $38.00 - $62.50
