IT Systems Analyst
Description We are in the process of recruiting an IT Systems Analyst to join our team in Chicago, Illinois. The primary function of this role will be to offer technical support to internal users, ensure optimal performance of our IT systems through regular maintenance, and handle various IT-related tasks as needed. Responsibilities: • Deliver technical solutions and support for issues related to computer systems, software, and hardware. • Identify and troubleshoot technical problems, escalating to relevant team members when necessary. • Understand and address the technical needs of end-users by asking comprehensive questions. • Install, configure, and update computer hardware and software to ensure optimal performance. • Manage user credentials, including resetting passwords and adjusting access permissions for various applications and systems. • Provide both on-site and remote support to assist users with technical issues. • Collaborate with external service providers to address IT requirements as directed by management. • Oversee IT supplies by ordering, maintaining inventory, and ensuring sufficient supplies to support IT operations. • Identify recurring problems, report these to management, and work towards effective solutions. • Monitor the progress of support requests to guarantee timely resolution. • Assist users with technical guidance for business activities, such as software navigation, device configuration, and reporting. Requirements • Applicant must possess at least one year of experience in the field of IT Systems Analysis. • Proficiency in computer hardware is a prerequisite for this role. • Strong knowledge and understanding of databases is required. • Experience with Active Directory is necessary for this position. • The candidate should have prior experience in Configuration Management. • Familiarity with Microsoft products and OS, specifically Microsoft Windows, is essential. • Knowledge and experience with WMS System is a significant advantage. • Previous experience in Desktop Support is a must. • The candidate should be able to provide effective technical support.
