IT Systems Analyst - Warehousing

Eaton’s Corporate Sector division is currently seeking a IT Systems Analyst - Warehousing.

The expected annual salary range for this role is $108749.97 - $159499.96 a year.

What you'll do:

Job Summary    
The Functional System Analyst - Distribution & Logistics will be an expert in designing, configuring, deploying and supporting tools that are critical for Eaton's Distribution Center operations as well as for the Eaton Logistics function.   In this role high levels of collaboration with individuals across the IT organization as well as Operations teams (levels staff to SLT) is required to gain an understanding of business objectives, facilitate solutions, develop approaches and define deliverables required to implement complex business processes and solutions.  The Functional System Analyst - Distribution & Logistics will participate on local/regional and global, cross functional teams  providing guidance on SCM/WMS/TMS  strategy, standard deployment models and process transformation initiatives in area of process expertise, delivering defined objectives and business value.  The incumbent will provide guidance on business process changes, configuration on standard tools, testing of system configuration changes by working with peers in IT and teams using the tools.  The role is also responsible for solving highly challenging and complex problems whilst maintaining highest level of influence on projects and stakeholders. This role will be a Techno-functional role requiring both process and technical knowledge on relevant systems.    
    
Job Responsibilities    

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Plan, deploy and support  future-state technology portfolios and IT program investments across the Distribution and Logistics landscape
• Helps manage requirements scope & disposition through process compliance & gap analysis
• Gathers requirement using interviews, document analysis, requirements workshops, storyboards, site visits, business process descriptions, use cases, scenarios, event lists, process analysis, competitive product analysis, task and workflow analysis, and/or viewpoints.
• Management of approved requirements specifications & verification of implementation scope.
• Provides knowledge & input on system implications of process changes.
• Develop, communicate, and deploy standard tool configurations as well as all relevant system documentation.
• Drives adoption of standard deployment models and emerging technologies to Eaton's Distribution & Logistics environments.
• Accountable for maintaining high levels of solution performance, availability and stability, demonstrating a commitment to quality.  Develop and communicate early watch reporting for new system deployments by business and/or site.
• Works within Eaton's IT Organization to successfully influence the direction of key design elements of the applications in this space.
• Support the operation's teams on the tools deployed, configurations of new capabilities and continues improvement projects

What you’ll do:

Enabling Actions:

• Focuses on major initiatives that provide the most benefit and/or have significant business, SCM digitization enablers, or technology risk.
• Conceptualizes solutions, builds consensus and sells the execution of solutions and standard deployment models.
• Completes project related deliverables including future state design documentation and requirements documentation.  
• Responsible for intermediate level system configurations 
• Prepares and provides training as required to business process owners and other key stakeholders.  
• Facilitates SIT, CRP, UAT and regression testing for global solutions as needed prior to migrating to productive system
• Effectively communicates the status for deliverables to project management and leadership to effectively mitigate risks and resolve issues.  
 
Key Technologies:
• Experience working across various Eaton functions and businesses in an agile methodology.
• Experience with business analytics and project related finance tools.
• Working knowledge of distribution and logistics tools.

 

 

* This is a hybrid role. Selected candidate will be required to work on-site 3 days a week at one of the posted Eaton locations. 

 

Qualifications:

Basic (required) Qualifications:


•    Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution.
•    5+ years of corporate business experience working as an Analyst within Agile teams and IT technology projects. 
•    Only candidates currently living within a 50-mile radius of posted  geographical areas will be considered for this role .
•    Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship now or in the future.

Preferred Qualifications: 

• Experience with warehouse management and logistics projects. 
• Exposure to the deployment, optimization and maintenance of distribution & logistics applications.
• Experience working in an agile methodology across a variety of  functions and businesses.
• Experience documenting business requirements, managing scope and alignment to standard deployment models
• Completed at least one full life-cycle (Design, build, test, deploy)  project
• Experience working highly complex projects, programs, and teams
• Experience working with Agile, including Scrum or Kanban, and how to practice Agile at scale
• Understanding of DevSecOps principles
• Experience working with diverse, global cultures, organizations and teams. 
• Excellent English written and verbal communication skills and the ability to communicate with all levels of the IT and business including operations and executive team members.
