The Applications & Automation organization within the DevSecOps Center of Excellence organization is hiring an IT Systems Engineer Staff to support the 1LMX Model Based Enterprise (MBE) scope which is made up of the Concept to Product, Issue to Complete and Design to Sustain value streams.
Your Mission:
As the Staff IT Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for supporting any of the four workstreams in Workstreams Transformation (Product Design, Program Performance Management, Material Delivery Process, and Build and Test). You will translate the customer vision into workable backlog products (Capabilities, Features and User Stories) for the IT Development team, develop tests for the user stories, and test and manage defects to closure.

Basic Qualifications:
• Significant software implementation experience and managing all stages of product life cycle
• Experience performing the role of the Systems Engineer and implementing process flow
• Experience in preparing for Program Increment (PI) Planning, engaging in PI Planning sessions, and working with the development team on sizing user stories
• Background in leading design sessions to support documentation to building complex systems
• Background in working closely with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to translate the customer vision into Concept of Operations, Roadmap and high-quality backlog (Capabilities/Features/User Stories) with value statements and clear acceptance criteria
• Experience in prioritization of the backlog based on customer vision and roadmap
• Ability to develop test plans for user stories, execute tests, track defects and manage defects to closure
• Experience in developing innovative approaches to translate the customer vision, dependent on the scope and circumstances
• Experience with JIRA and DOORS
• Agile software development experience and familiarity with Agile tools (Jira, VersionOne)
• US citizenship required due to system access
Desired Skills:
• Technical background with knowledge of software development
• Experience gathering requirements for data from various sources, understanding business and documenting process flows in preparation for data extraction.
• Knowledge of PLM applications development and deployment
• Ability to communicate effectively with customers/stakeholders to formulate and implement enterprise-wide business, organization, and information technology approaches.
• Ability to work in a virtual environment and teams.

Ability to Work Remotely: Full-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work remotely full time at a location other than a Lockheed Martin designated office/job site. Employees may travel to a Lockheed Martin office for periodic meetings.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California and New York is $115,500 - $217,500. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate’s work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer. This position is incentive plan eligible.
Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, Washington or Washington DC is $100,400 - $192,500. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer. Benefits offered: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, 401(k) match, Flexible Spending Accounts, EAP, Education Assistance, Parental Leave, Paid time off, and Holidays. (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year. This position is incentive plan eligible.
