What are we looking for?

An IT Systems Engineer plays a crucial role in maintaining the technological infrastructure of an organization. IT Systems Engineer will be responsible for providing technical assistance and support to ensure the smooth operation of computer systems, networks, and software applications.

What will you do? Technical Support: Provide technical assistance to end-users via phone, email, or in-person.. Set up and configure new hardware, software, and peripherals. Troubleshoot hardware and software issues. Provide support for operating systems, applications, and network problems. Installation and Configuration: Install and configure computer systems, software, printers, and scanners. Set up accounts for new users and ensure they know how to log in and use the systems. Perform regular system updates and maintenance tasks. User Training and Documentation: Create and maintain user guides and technical documentation. Conduct training sessions for employees on new systems and software. Incident Management: Log and manage support requests using a ticketing system. Escalate issues to higher-level support or external vendors when necessary. What knowledge and skills should you bring? Education: A degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred but not always required. Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified IT Professional, Cisco Certified Network Associate). Experience: Previous experience in a technical support or IT helpdesk role is beneficial. Hands-on experience with various hardware and software troubleshooting. Technical Proficiency: Strong knowledge of operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux). Familiarity with hardware components, network systems, and software applications. Problem-Solving: Analytical skills to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently. Ability to think critically and provide effective solutions. Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to assist users and document issues. Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users. Customer Service: Patience and interpersonal skills to work with a diverse range of users. Strong customer service orientation to ensure user satisfaction. Why Us?
