IT Systems Engineer Lead/Consultant

As an IT Systems Engineer Lead or Consultant on the Software Asset Management team, you'll be part of an enterprise process and data team concentrating on technology roadmaps, enterprise architecture alignment, project support and advancement of the Enterprise Software Asset Management discipline. You will work across the entire enterprise, partnering with software owners, technical support subject matter experts, IT Control and external vendors to ensure our technology stack and underlying data to support business needs. You will also partner with your peers to define, roadmap and execute our software asset management strategy architecture with an emphasis on identifying and implementing AI and other automation capabilities to improve organization efficiency.

This is a remote position for US-based work only.

Must-have qualifications

Associate degree or higher in an Information Technology discipline, Math or other related field of study and a minimum of six years working with operating system hardware and/or software components in a large IT environment with many categories of devices, infrastructures, and operating systemsIn lieu of a degree, a minimum of eight years related experience working with operating system hardware and/or software components in a large IT environment with many categories of devices, infrastructures and operating systems may be accepted

Preferred skills

FlexeraOne or equivalent software asset management tool experience and knowledge of HELIX catalog managementSoftware asset management lifecycle/process standards/process development/industry standards and best practice expertiseKnowledge of software installation behaviors, software usage, and software discovery methodologiesExperience with AI/automation, data manipulation, API/systems integration, data analysis and reporting with an emphasis on analyzing complex datasets across multiple disparate systemsAbility to influence and guide peers and business partners including presenting at all levels of the organization Vendor relationship management experience

Compensation

$110,000 - $155,000/year depending on position level and experienceGainshare annual cash incentive payment up to 40% of your eligible earnings based on company performance
