If you would like to join us on our mission, apply today! **Position Highlights** POSITION SUMMARY: Performs activities involving maintenance, support, installation, upgrading, and monitoring of servers and Local Area Network (LAN). Installs server-based software and hardware, resolves desktop, server, application and network-related problems. Leads with the identification and implementation of facility-wide IS/IT projects and licensed software, providing software and technology recommendations. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/DETAILED DUTIES: Resolves requests for service related to use of computers and related equipment and applications. Performs scheduled maintenance including patches and server re-boots. Test existing IT lines and runs new lines as needed. Preliminary troubleshooting of VOIP phone issues. Maintains work area and supply inventories. Assists with training as assigned. Assist with training staff to new programs/review of current programs. Communicates frequently in person and/or over the phone with people in a number of different locations on technical issues. Interacts with many people of differing professional levels and to succeed in an environment of competing priorities. Performs system diagnoses and repair, as needed. Assists with diagnosing and resolving problems with printers, copiers, and networks. Works with Corporate IT Staff for transitioning, implementing & keeping current with updates and changes. Leads, supports, and updates the implementation of new IT systems Orders selection with cost for department for new equipment Works with and tracks the IT budget. POSITION QUALIFICATIONS: Prefer five years of experience in MIS. Degree and/or certifications in computers/technological support to support a strong knowledge of computers. A demonstrated ability in maintaining and repairing computers and/or networks. Working knowledge base of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint. Excellent communication and organizational skills and ability to multitask. Trouble shooting abilities to work with hardware, software and networks.
