Job DescriptionNorco is currently seeking an individual to fill our IT Technical Help Desk position. The IT Technical Help Desk Technician is responsible for supporting the personal computer hardware and software operations, maintenance, customer support, and those tasks assigned by the Systems Administrator and/or Information Systems Manager. Other responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Provide personal computer software and hardware support to all corporate and branch usersSetup and install new PC's, thin clients, peripherals, and related equipmentConfigure, troubleshoot, and maintain handheld devices in a wireless network environmentSoftware installation for Microsoft products and other applications as defined by Information Systems ManagerMaintain user accounts across multiple systemsKeep track of issues and resolution using trouble-ticket softwarePerform other tasks as assigned or necessaryQualificationsHigh school graduate or equivalent, college degree preferred - 4 year degree (related or nonrelatedfield) or Associates in computer related field, or 2 year certificationAssociates in a computer related field or 2 year certification preferredExperience or working knowledge of PC architecture and concepts, hardware installation and configuration, component installation and configuration, and peripheral installation and configurationAbility to accurately enter data into computers and acquire a working knowledge of any software applications necessary to the positionAble to work in a high pressure environmentHighly motivatedGood organizational skillsAdditional Information
