Eagle Harbor is seeking an IT Technical Lead/Systems Administrator to support our government client in Merrifield, VA and teams deployed throughout the U.S.
Responsibilities :
Systems Administration level knowledge and experience of MS Active Directory, Windows Desktop and Server Operating Systems.Standalone and support to agency operations.Assist the government staff in developing engineering proposals for system changes.Assist in the transfer of data from standalone systems to agency storage for analysis.Telecommunications and network troubleshooting (basic networking concepts)Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical personnel Receive and prepare data/evidence to be ingested into multiple systems which agency analysts use for analysis.-Some systems include Intella, Cellebrite, Pathfinder, CFIS, and Encase Work closely with the forensic laboratory to acquire data/evidence. Also, manage Virtual access to the labs network Analyze and support off-site computer operations.Coordinate with the users of production applications to identify issues for resolution.Perform data recovery using off-line resource.Monitor system resources.Provides instruction in the use of standard software packages and specialized applications.Provide first-line support for operational problems for standalone systems.Gather information from users.Define work problems.Develop procedures to resolve problems.Develop complete specifications to enable computer programmers to prepare required programs.Ensure multiple agency servers are always running using Virtual Windows Servers in Citrix environment by performing maintenance, troubleshooting and updates.Maintain multiple backups of case data.Assist in the shipment of inventory to support scanning missions Worldwide.Assist with procurement, maintenance and troubleshooting am inventory of laptops, scanners and software for Law Enforcement and Intelligence Analysts.Perform annual physical inventory for agency offices across the country.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Customer service oriented.Must be able to travel with flexibility (35%) to support agency analysts with technical issues while on TDY.

US CitizenAbility to pass a pre-employment background checkAbility to pass agency backgroundActive Secret ClearanceCollege graduate or equivalent work experience, or completion of military, law enforcement, or equivalent technical school is required.A minimum of eight (8) years of experience, or equivalent ten (10) years on-the-job experience is required.Specific areas of expertise may vary, but typically include: advanced system architecture, hardware technologies, and communications; applied physics; computer generated imagery; digital/analog systems; human factors engineering; computer simulation; or electronic sensor technologies.
