Detailed Job Description: Work with the App Development Team in analyzing and understanding business requirements. Creating reusable components for selenium based tests. Identifying Test Scenarios, edge cases and suggesting improvements. Actively taking part in weekly (agile/waterfall) status meetings with IT Teams. Creating and enhancing Test Cases (Test Scripts) using Element locators, WebDriver methods, Java programming concepts, and TestNG Annotations. Creating Data-driven Tests and Running through the framework. Conducting Manual Testing on various Mobile devices of different platforms for Functional, Usability, Performance and Security aspects Server side Attribute testing to make sure everything is working fine from the backend side. Hands on involvement in design/development/usage of automation testing frameworks and technologies. Work with IT/Business/Market teams to institute frameworks and where appropriate processes to facilitate delivery of high quality software. Use tools and frameworks for writing automation tests effectively using selenium (python or Java). Defining and exporting Test Results. Document, Analyze Test Results and Report Defects in systems like Quality Center/JIRA and report the progress to team. Root cause analysis on issues and nail down the reason of issue. Tracking Defects and Select Test cases for Regression Testing. Modifying Test Automation Resources and Maintenance of Resources. Write test scripts for automation. Mentor and direct other software testers and developers in test automation and related principles. Strong communication, analytical and problem-solving skills.
