IT Technician
Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for an IT Technician. The individual will play an integral role in maintaining, troubleshooting, and improving the IT infrastructure across our organization, which operates in the manufacturing industry. The IT Technician will manage a variety of technical tasks, supporting both hardware and software solutions to ensure the efficiency and security of day-to-day operations. Responsibilities: • Oversee the organization's IT infrastructure, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes where necessary • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to hardware and software • Manage the configuration of computer hardware, ensuring optimal performance across the organization • Implement and manage Microsoft Windows Server and Active Directory • Maintain and manage Local Area Network (LAN) and Wide Area Network (WAN) • Handle Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system • Ensure the security of the organization's IT systems, utilizing backup technologies and configuration management • Manage and oversee VMWare technologies and Microsoft SQL Server • Utilize VLAN and O 365 as part of the IT function within the organization. Requirements • Possess a minimum of 5 years of experience in an IT Technician role or similar. • Demonstrated experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems. • Proficient in Active Directory and Backup Technologies. • Demonstrated knowledge of Computer Hardware and Configuration Management. • Familiarity with VMware Technologies and MS SQL Server is required. • Experience in working with LAN and WAN. • Proficient in Microsoft Windows Server, VLAN, and O 365. • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure. • Strong communication and interpersonal skills. • A relevant degree in IT or related field is preferred. • Must be a team player with a proactive and positive attitude. • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines. • Must possess strong organizational skills and attention to detail. • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information. • Willingness to keep up-to-date with the latest technology and trends.
