IT Technician
Full Time Contract Title: IT Technician Location: Dorado, Puerto Rico Length of Contract: 10 months Company Description: Our client is a global medical technology leader dedicated to transforming lives through innovative medical solutions. They develop, manufacture, and market a broad range of medical devices used in various medical specialties, including Cardiology, Urology and Pelvic Health, Endoscopy, Neuromodulation and Electrophysiology. Position Description: We are seeking a skilled IT Technician to provide on-site support for computer installations and maintenance at our client's Dorado facility. Responsibilities: + Deploy new workstations, including imaging, software installation, and data migration. + Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network connectivity issues for end-users. + Ensure proper integration with the existing IT infrastructure. + Provide technical support to end-users via phone, email, and in person. + Manage user accounts and access within Active Directory. + Connect and configure systems within an Ethernet network environment. + Perform computer hardware repairs and maintenance as needed. + Adhere to all company security and safety protocols. Qualifications: + 3+ years of experience supporting Windows operating systems and Active Directory in a corporate environment + Experience managing user accounts, groups, permissions, and GPOs in Active Directory + Solid understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and basic network troubleshooting + Experience with Ethernet networks, computer hardware, and troubleshooting. + Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment. + Must be available to work occasional evenings and weekends for scheduled maintenance or emergency support. + Experience with HIPAA, FDA regulations, or other relevant compliance standards is a plus Education & Certifications: + Education in Information Technology (IT), Information Systems (IS), or a related field is preferred, along with 3 years of relevant experience.
