The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing new laptops, communicating with users, and transferring data and configurations from old laptops to new ones. RESPONSIBILITIES Reporting to the IT Service Center Manager, the computer lifecycle technician will have the following responsibilities: Prepare and configure new laptops according to company specifications; Communicate with users to plan and coordinate the replacement of their laptops; Transfer all data, applications, and configurations from the old laptop to the new one; Ensure data backup and security during the transfer process; Provide technical support to users during and after the transfer to resolve any issues; Document procedures for future reference; Collaborate with the IT team to improve deployment and transfer processes; DESIRED PROFILE Hold a DEC or DEP in computer science or relevant experience; Good communication and writing skills (bilingual English/French written and spoken); Experience in the Office 365 environment; Excellent customer service; Knowledge of using an ITSM platform; High autonomy, team spirit, and customer orientation; Experience in technical support and computer lifecycle management; Ability to solve technical problems quickly and efficiently; Organizational skills and attention to detail.
