IT Technician Specialist

This position is for the IT Tech Specialist in the Commercial\nNavigation Software team reporting to the Senior Software Engineering\nManager, Commercial Navigation Software.
As an IT Tech Specialist here at Honeywell, you will be\nresponsible for providing technical support and troubleshooting services to\nensure the smooth operation of our IT systems specific to Comm Nav Software.\nYour expertise in IT hardware and software will be crucial in resolving\ntechnical issues and maintaining the efficiency of our technology\ninfrastructure. You will report directly to our Senior Software Engineering\nManager, and you'll work out of our MN17 location on a hybrid work schedule. In\nthis role, you will have a direct impact on the productivity and effectiveness\nof our organization by ensuring that our IT systems are running smoothly and\nefficiently. Your technical skills and problem-solving abilities will be\ninstrumental in resolving technical issues and providing excellent customer\nsupport.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for hardware\n(legacy and next gen) and software issues.
• Install, configure, and maintain computer systems and\nsoftware.
• Submit IT tickets and be the POC for coordinating IT\ntickets with the global IT/CMADS team.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve complex\ntechnical issues.
• Ensure the security and integrity of IT systems and data.
• Document and maintain IT procedures and processes.
• Other relevant tasks as assigned by the manager.

The annual base salary range for this position is $72,000--$90,000. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline. Honeywell considers various factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidate’s work experience, education and training, key skills, as well as market and business considerations. 

U.S. PERSON REQUIREMENTS

Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. Person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status or have the ability to obtain an export authorization

YOU MUST HAVE
• 3+ years of experience in IT technical support or a\nrelated role.
• Strong technical skills and knowledge of IT hardware and\nsoftware.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities and a High school DImploma 

WE VALUE

• Experience with DevOps toolchains and working knowledge of\nCI/CD tools such as    Bamboo/Docker/Jenkins\netc. 
• Tool scripting experience in python, bash etc.  
• Experience with multiple Operating Systems such as\nWindows, Linux.  
• Certifications in relevant IT technologies.
• Experience in providing customer support.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
