The role demands that the individual works well under pressure and can deliver towards tight deadlines. The role will have to manage ticket queue and be responsible for manning a hotline throughout shift. The role requires flexible hours from Tuesday through Saturday.
The Systems Operations Windows Consultant is responsible for assisting the systems operation team in the operations of an estate comprising over 2,500 servers and a number of technologies including but not limited to:Server and Desktop Virtualization (VMware vSphere 5.x, vCenter 5.x)XenApp (6.0/6.6)XenDesktopActive DirectoryExchange 2013, Exchange 2016Windows Server Operating system (2008R2/2012/2016)SCOM 2012, SCCM 2012Print Services (Ysoft or comparable authentication a plus)Skillset required:Must possess 1-4 years of enterprise-level experience in most of the following areasMicrosoft Active DirectoryWindows Server 2003/2008/2012Microsoft Exchange 2010Windows File Clusters/DFSCitrix/XenAppVMWare, ESXi/ESX, vSphere 4/5SCCMCandidate should possess scripting/programing skills in at least one of the following languages:PowerShellVbscriptVB/.NETASP.Net/C#Perl/WMISCOM.
