Detailed Job Description:

2 to 4 years of distributed application experience. Basic in Java or dotnet. PLSQL, SQL Experience. . Excellent problem solving and root cause analysis skills. Good written and verbal communication skills Proven ability to understand and troubleshoot abends and complex problems under pressure Understanding of tables, views, indexes, and stored procedures, and the ability to understand them by reading their definitions. Familiarity with DB2and SQL constructs. Flexible with working shifts 5 to 8 Year experience in supporting web based application developed using .Net / Java. Unix Linux Experience of supporting Unix based applications including experience troubleshooting in a Unix environment. SQLDatabases MSSQLTeradataDB2 Understanding of tables, views, indexes, and stored procedures, and the ability to understand them by reading their definitions. Familiarity with SQL constructs. Understanding of transactions, query plan analysis. Ability to wright any queries on the fly during issues resolution and user inquiries. Shell Scripting: Ability to write a shell script from scratch and ability to understand existing scripts by looking at them. Understanding of source code management concepts and experience with at least one source code control tool. Experience with incident on call and ability to respond to emergencies on a 24/7 basis.
