Detailed Job Description:

Provide SME level support for engineering CAD software applications, including Autodesk application suite (AutoCAD, Vault, Inventor, etc), Dassault Systems, Polyworks, as well as other proprietary applications Receiving hardware, hardware disposal and software license tracking Second level of responsibilities: Local coordination, installation and on-going support for Windows10 CAD workstations Provide SME level support for the engineering IT environment, which may include workstations, servers, network storage and file shares, Active Directory (Users, Groups, Security Permissions, etc), and engineering software applications

Required:

Strong knowledge in, and experience supporting, workstation environments running Microsoft Windows 10, Office Professional 2016 / O356 Pro and Outlook Knowledge and experience supporting Microsoft Windows Server 2012, 2016, 2019 Knowledge and experience working with Microsoft SCCM environment (imaging client machines, troubleshooting issues, etc) Working knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, WINS, DHCP and troubleshooting experience Working knowledge of Active Directory and troubleshooting experience Candidate must have good communication & customer service skills Excellent troubleshooting, problem solving & root cause analysis skills Must be a self-starter, have good project management skills, and be able to follow defined corporate processes & policies Strong team worker, with excellent organizational & time management skills Requires frequent interface with engineering user community as well as IT infrastructure teams Must possess a high level of quality and attention to detail Ability to work flexible hours and overtime & Availability to provide 24x7 on-call coverage, if needed
