Detailed Job Description:
Strong communication skill to interact with client. 3 - 5 years of related experience. Strong experience with server-client computing and relational database environments. Experience with Microsoft Active Directory, Windows desktop OS, Windows OS server required. Experience with SQL database including management, database migrations, data base backup/restore, database tuning and script writing helpful. Experience with Citrix, LANDesk, VMWare, and SharePoint preferred. Experience with MS Office Installation & Integration, IS administration Experience with application deployment using a tool Eg: Ivanti or SCCM Familiarity with Apache web server, Java certificate stores. Strong analytical and product management skills required. Ability to learn and adapt to changing technology. Strong technical documentation skills Availability to work outside of traditional office hours. Work with the lines of business to understand their business needs and translate them into application and operational requirements. Evaluate line of business requirements using interviews, document analysis, business process descriptions, task and workflow analysis and take the information gathered from multiple sources to distinguish user requests from the underlying true technological needs and document solutions for implementation. Manages and implements complex IT projects for the lines of business from research to production. Defines project resources, requirements, plans and schedules project deliverables, goals and milestones in conjunction with the lines of business and IT department. Coordinate system development tasks to include design, integration and formal testing. Install new hardware, systems and software into ONB’s current network environment for the lines of business. Install, configure and maintain network services, equipment and devices. Perform troubleshooting analysis of servers, workstations and associated systems. Document network problems and resolution for future reference. Document the install instructions for both server and workstation application installations for Desktop Support group. Provide training with Desktop Support on new applications and processes as well as train the line of business on how to access the applications. Responsible for day-to-day ongoing support and maintenance of many supported applications.Desired skills:
