At-least 5+ years of experience in SQL Server Development and Administration including Analysis, Design, Capacity planning, up-gradation, configuration, performance analysis, security, development, maintenance of database on production, development, and test environments under Windows platforms Experience with Migrating SQL databases and data sources to Relational cloud-based Azure platform (PAAS) Good knowledge on Setting up High availability DR solutions and over Azure Experience with SQL Database Development tasks like Create database and Database objects like creating tables, indexes, stored procedures, Triggers using SSMS and performing the shrink operation on both data and log file using SSMS Designing Database Schema and making changes to existing tables/functions Experience in implementing Table partitioning and advanced working knowledge of different index types and how they are used: column store, full-text, filtered, indexes with include columns Experience in creating T-SQL (DML, DDL, DCL and TCL), Temporary Tables, Table Variables, Stored Procedures, System and User Defined Functions Experience in the use of T-SQL for developing complex Stored Procedures, Views, Triggers, Index, CTE, Constraint, Tables, Data integrity and SQL joins Strong in Configuring and maintaining all types of database Backups, Recovery models in Simple, Full and Bulk-logged and restore operations Experience in Backing up, restoring the database manually and by scheduling the jobs and Maintenance Plans Experience in Configuring & implementing Database High-Availability/Recovery (DR) Solutions like Mirroring, Log Shipping, Replication, Always On Availability groups and Clusters Strong at Query optimization and Performance tuning by analyzing Execution plans Experience with ETL process using SSIS with various control flow, data flow tasks and store procedures for work order validation process. Experience with SSIS in implementing ETL Tasks, data integration with other systems. Experience with deploying SSIS packages and scheduling packages as SQL jobs Experience with SQL Profiler, Execution Plan, Performance Monitor, Activity Monitor to resolve Dead Locks, Blocking caused by Long Running Queries and Bottlenecks caused by complex Queries Experience in identifying fragmentation, improving efficiency by Reorganizing and Rebuilding Indexes Experience administering SQL Server Databases in an OLTP Environment. Have good understanding on Data warehousing concepts Implemented SQL Server security and object permissions like DB authentication modes, user creation, configuring permissions, and assigning roles to users. Skilled in auditing of a database for user transaction, login and database action and removing orphan users Experience on DMV, DBCC commands and dynamic management functions for finding out long-running queries Experience in managing an extensive database in 24/7 Environment & Available for On-Call Rotation Monitored performance and fine-tuned the database objects and server to ensure efficient data retrieval Good knowledge of SDLC methodology (Agile and Waterfall) Participate in peer- code reviews and walkthrough Excellent and proven communication skills (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills Exceptional ability to multi-task and priorities Excellent organizational and time management skills Experience working with Onshore-Offshore delivery modelCertifications Needed: No
