Top 3 responsibilities you would expect the Subcon to shoulder and execute:

Engage with the vendor and diligently followup on tickets, tasks and punch list items.Debug issues in the application. Dig deep in the logs and locate exceptions and error. Able to understand the general context of those errors.Write good quality python code to interact with the application. Produce and consume rest APIs, webservices, database file interfaces.
