Must Have Skills:
Oracle PLSQL PostgresDetailed JD:
Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education
At least 7 years of experience with Information Technology, specifically in Software Development
At least 1 years of telecom domain experience
Preferred:
5+ years of experience in Programming Oracle / PL SQL and PostgreSQL Strong knowledge and at least 2 years of experience in Data Migration, Performance tuning 3+ years of experience in any ETL processes and tools (Talend, Informatica and etc) At least 2 years of experience as Talend ETL Senior Developer. Excellent knowledge and deep understanding in the below technologies. Oracle PL/SQL Unix Shell Scripting Open source PostgreSQL (DBA Level) Expertise on AWS RDS, AWS SCT, DMS and fail-over process. Possess very good technical ability to understand existing application and environments. Analyzing the method of transforming existing data (Oracle) into a format for the new environment and the loading of this data into other database structures (PostgreSQL). Expert-level knowledge on resolving all DB related issues in the application. Validate and analyze data sets to ensure Data Quality, Data Integrity, Data consistency. Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery environment and work with offshore teams. Ability research into new areas and come up with ideas and solutions. Ability to work independently and produce results in a fast paced, team environment. Flexibility to learn any additional Tools and packages and implement it in the project. Provide guidance, assistance, coordination and follow up on client questions, problems or malfunctions of feed related systems applications.Nice to have:
Experience in migration of stored procedures from Oracle to PostgreSQL Hands on experience in DBA activities. Reviewing existing migration tools and providing recommendations for improving the Migration process Flexibility to learn any additional Tools and packages related to the application and implement it in the project Excellent command of verbal and written communication skills as well as service oriented working attitude. Teamwork skills to coordinate their efforts with the work that's being performed by other design and development professionals.Minimum years of experience*: 5+
