Detailed Job Description:

At least 6 years of experience in SQL DBA Activities Installation and Administration of SQL server2008R2/2012/2014/2016 SQL server updates with latest services packs as per client needs. Creations of logins/users and giving appropriate permissions as per request. Implementing of Mirroring as a HA options. Providing 24x7 Production support as SQL DBA that includes variety of Environments like Production, Stage, Dev etcs Supporting the versions of SQL Databases Implementing and Maintaining Always on Availability Groups. Monitoring performance to determine methods to optimize database performance (memory, CPU, Blocks, Fragmentation, long running queries) Experience monitoring user accounts, creations of groups, granting database and application roles to users and groups. Monitor database for optimal performance through DMV, Activity monitor, Extended event Error log. Shrink database files as necessary to improve the performance. Performing Database Maintenance activity like. Rebuilding/reorganizing indexes Update statistics Checking database integrity Clean up the history on regular intervals. Monitoring and Troubleshooting of SQL Databases and related issues Experience in DB Migration activities Troubleshooting in space issues Effective co-ordination with client stakeholders and offshore teams regarding iteration assigned work. Experience in SQL server Integration services (SSIS)
