Detailed Job Description:

Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Woodbury, NY or be willing to relocate to the area. Bachelor s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. At least 7 years of Server development experience Experience with Media domain and video delivery platforms. Tibco expertise is highly recommended. Experience in working with MRDVR and RSDVR systems. Experience in JAVA/J2EE server applications.  Experience in developing multi-threaded Server applications. Experience in developing REST web services. Experience in developing python web-applications. Experience with Agile development methodologies

Preferred Qualifications:

Ability to create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases. Knowledge and experience with full SDLC lifecycle. Experience with Lean / Agile development methodologies. Hands-on experience with both white box and black box testing. Issue triaging Identify, record, document thoroughly and track bugs Working experience with HP ALM, Jira and other tracking and defect monitoring tools. Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery environment. Troubleshooting STB and/or Linux application related issues. Application deployment and validation in application servers like Tomcat, JBOSS. Experience in any cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) is desirable.
