Detailed Job Description:
Support, edit, and lead the creation of Operational Runbooks and Training Documentation for Wireless systems, applications, integration(s), platforms, and vendor products for the Wholesale and Retail businesses. This includes OSS and BSS systems as well as any related infrastructure. Meet with the various stakeholders, developers, and technical team resources to identify the key operational processes and training documentation to support Tier 1 - 3 Operational teams. Interview with technical, operational, and development teams to gain an understanding of current systems, structures, and processes for creating the documentation. Learn the key operational areas and work closely with the Wireless teams to incorporate the following information into Runbooks and related training documentation. Systems Configurations, Configuration Requirements, High level Descriptions and Overview, Monitoring Info, Events, Alarms, Health Checks, Troubleshooting Steps, Maintenance and Cleanup Items, Workflows, UI Screenshots, Instructions for Using Diagrams and Designs, Website or WIKI postings, Collecting and Organizing Vendor Documentation and Specifications, FAQs, Processes, Workflows, Support Diagrams, and Training Modules. BA/BS in a technical or business discipline (information systems, engineering, computer science, finance, business administration, or accounting) 10+ years experience in Technical Writing 6+ years experience in IT 4+ years experience in Operational processes and Training documentation Capable of prioritizing multiple projects and still meet deadlines Proven ability to assess business needs and translate them into relevant solutions Excellent organizational and teamwork skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Self-motivation with strong, proven, analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to collaborate with cross-functional resources and work well in a distributed environment Ability to plan for future work while maintaining the current delivery with rapidly changing prioritiesMinimum years of experience: 5+
