IT Technology Support Assistant Student
Student AV Technicians will report to the Director of Information Technology This team should comprise a minimum of 3 student staff members Each evenings shift would be monitored by one student and offer on average 22 hours of work for this team about 75 hours per student per week This student staff would report to the Director of Information Technology but have modified Building Management access to support faculty staff students and external meetingsevents after hours The position is responsible for instructional and collaborative ITAV technology support in TMH The position is responsible for supporting ITAV technology to faculty staff and students on site The position will also be responsible for setup and configuring designated rooms for SPP eventsPosition may include any or all of the following Provide onsite technical and general room support to faculty staff and students including AV systems in classrooms and meeting spaces Monitor all technical aspects of the classroom Monitor WEPA Printing Room setup and configuration for events held at TMH Providing TMH room access within the work hours designated Ensure that all rooms and areas of the building are properly secured or enabled for the appropriate program usage Ensure all rooms are secured at the end of programs and events Listening out for emergency situations and calling for emergency services Other duties as assigned
