BRMi is seeking a IT Tester to perform integration, regression, and functional testing on systems to ensure compliance with system requirements and Navy Federal business practices and policies. Assists in the analysis of functional and technical requirements and the creation and editing of test cases for new or modified systems.

 

**Can be 100% remote in TX, NJ, NC, WV, AL, VA, MD, MO, DC, GA, or FL**

Responsibilities Assist Quality Assurance Analyst to certify system testing complete & ready for productionCreate and edit test cases in accordance with system requirementsCreate, modify and/or locate the data and conditions needed to execute test casesIdentify areas for improved testing processesModify, coordinate and schedule input to maintain the test environmentsReport testing activity including time spent, testing time lost and discrepancies foundServe as test lead on projectsEnsure clear, concise and effective communication of materialFull life-cycle project management
Establish and lead project teamsDevelop project plan/scope/schedule/cost/communicationsProcure and/or manage resources/timelines/deadlines/qualityRisk, Issue and Change managementEnsure successful project implementationScope of responsibilityServe as subject matter expert regarding business functions, systems, policies and/or proceduresMay assist with addressing employee inquiries or problem resolutionPerform other duties as assigned Qualifications Ability to work independently and in a team environmentExperience in testing complex systems including various platformsAdvanced knowledge of development or operations framework methodologies, including Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL), Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC), etc.Advanced organizational, planning and time management skillsAdvanced research, analytical, and problem solving skillsAdvanced skill maintaining accuracy with attention to detail and meeting deadlinesEffective skill presenting findings, conclusions, alternatives and information clearly and conciselyEffective verbal and written communication skillsBachelor's Degree in Information Technology or the equivalent combination of training, education, and experience
