Pay Range: $22.07 to $33.11
Actual pay will be based on various factors, such as a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies, proficiency for the role, and internal equity. In addition to base pay, Kwik Trip gives 40% of pre-tax profits back to our coworkers with bonuses ranging from 8-12% of each coworker’s gross annual wage depending on company profitability and offers a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, 401k, paid time off, and more.
What you’ll be doing:
This person is responsible for developing and creating technology-related courses for both e-learning and live classroom formats. This person will be utilizing training and content creation platforms for developing e-learning courses. This individual is responsible for training on the proper operation of computer equipment, hardware devices, and software applications. They create materials to be used for IT-associated programs and knowledge articles. The IT Training and Development Specialist is responsible for the initial IT onboarding and follow up with new, transferred, and promoted campus coworkers.
Additional responsibilities include:
Training job-specific, company-specific, and generic software applications and personal computer classes.Conduct technology-related trainings for end users in person or via video conferencing.Develop and maintain eLearning content and modules.Responsible for providing training/instructions on how to efficiently use or troubleshoot system applications to increase productivity and minimize downtime.Collaborate with team to accomplish necessary training tasks.Apply educational methods to engage trainees (e.g. gamification-based platforms).Coordinate, schedule, and advertise learning classes for internal and external IT instructor(s).Answer calls, emails, and chats from end users with questions or route appropriately.Track the progress and monitor the completion of IT assignments for end users.Collaborate with the subject matter experts to prepare project requirements and schedule for training.Create company-wide communications, digital signage, and knowledge base content.You will need to have:
Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Corporate Training, Education, Leadership, Communication, Business, or a related field (associate degree or equivalent work experience considered).Experience with Camtasia, Adobe Creative Cloud, Adobe Captivate, and/or any other digital training/graphic design platforms.Moderate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office products desired.Exceptional written and verbal presentation skills.Ability to interact and communicate effectively with a wide variety of personality styles and technical abilities.Excellent proofreading and editing skills sufficient to produce publication-ready documents and videos.Strong customer service skills.Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.Basic project management skills.Work with minimal supervision.Ability to manage competing priorities.Work Schedule: Monday through Friday, daytime hours, or as needed to perform duties.
