Description of Work:
The VMO Analyst will be responsible for building relationships to drive changes and implement the VMO model. This person will develop and implement vendor management processes, tools, and policies while fostering strong vendor relationships to ensure effective communication and alignment. Key interactions will include Finance, Legal, Compliance, PMO, and IT teams, with a focus on driving success in vendor management.
Deliverables:
Establish strong and collaborative relationships with key internal and external stakeholders to develop, implement, and optimize vendor management processes, tools, and policies while mitigating vendor risk.Manage contract negotiations and relationship management for strategic IT partners, including defining MSA service level agreements and implementing incentive plans to deliver best-in-class support.Work closely with business and IT leads in a matrix organization to ensure process protocols are in place and followed internally.Lead and oversee strategic IT sourcing partners in executing cost containment initiatives in partnership with internal teams.Partner with key offshore vendors to implement defined IT governance processes, KPIs, CPIs, and reporting in alignment with executed MSAs and SoWs.Upload and reconcile contracts in the contract lifecycle management (CLM) system and assist with file archiving.Reconcile expenses to ensure contracts are on file and maintain up-to-date contract records and attributes.Develop a workflow for new contracts with appropriate approvals and ensure vendor contracts are properly entered in CLM.Evaluate internal processes for vendor management application, ensuring all necessary connection points are available.Communicate process expectations to internal managers, including documentation updates on internal platforms.Collaborate with IT Expense Analysts to revise budget/expense projections based on PO/contract changes.Formal Job Description:

This individual will oversee the contract lifecycle, collaborate with internal teams and external vendors, and drive cost-saving initiatives. Responsibilities:
Build strong and effective relationships with strategic technology vendors.Participate in negotiating a broad range of software and hardware contracts.Develop and implement contract negotiation strategies to support organizational goals.Manage the contract lifecycle, including tracking renewals and ensuring compliance.Identify cost reduction opportunities by leveraging current spend.Partner with stakeholders to validate utilization and demand.Conduct market research and benchmarking as needed.Define and document vendor management processes.Act as a Team Lead within the Vendor Management Office (VMO).Qualifications:
7+ years of experience managing TEM, telecommunications, and hardware contracts, leading negotiations, sourcing, and/or procurement.Strong knowledge of complex contracts, licensing rights, and terminology.Ability to prioritize high-priority contracts in a fast-paced environment.Excellent negotiation skills with a proven track record of cost savings.Independent contributor with the ability to collaborate effectively in a team setting.Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.Bachelor's degree in a related field.Preferred Skills:
