This key technology support role will lead in providing Burlington stable and efficient WMS systems across the enterprise and help Burlington continue to be an industry-leading retailer.
This is a great opportunity to join us as an IT WMS Application Analyst. In this role you will be responsible for the overall functional/technical configuration, design, testing and integration of Manhattan WMS system with MHE systems.
This role serves as a liaison between the Supply Chain business, DC Operations teams and IT.
This job requires working out of our Burlington, NJ office on a hybrid schedule.
A Day In The Life
Design and Process:Assists in Transforming requirements into software design and/or configurationPrepares flowcharts and diagrams to illustrate sequence of steps the program must follow and to describe logical operations involved.Design user interfaces between WMS and external systems to accomplish goals of user requestAnalyze and improve supply chain data, and processes
Develop, and Test:Configures, tests, troubleshoots, and implement software applications.Modifies applications to increase operational efficiency or to satisfy new requirements.Writes documentation to describe functional design and logic.
Support:Provide support for warehouse applications; fix minor and major issues as they arise.Work closely with business to provide short-term workarounds and long-term solutions to production problemsAssist in promoting a positive image and inter-business relationship with business partners and vendors
Lead:Leads projects of medium -large size and complexity – providing direction to project team members on issues of technology, implementation and support.Follows the SDLC and SOX, Regulatory, and Security best practices to ensure quality and timely delivery.
To Be Successful You Should Possess
Bachelor’s degreeStrong understanding of supply chain principles with an expertise in Warehouse Management ProcessesEnd to End Functional knowledge in implementing Manhattan Warehouse Management System5 or more years of experience in Manhattan WM Open Systems (WMS 2018 or higher) requiredExpertise in Configuration and different Functional areas of WMS – like inbound, outbound etc.,2 + years of Experience in Integrating Manh WMS system with Host ERP, external Reporting, TMS/YMS and MHE SystemsAny experience in Manh WM Active version and other Manh products like LM, TMS and SCI will be an added advantageOracle SQL/PL experience, any experience in Unix, Java is advantageousGood oral and written skills. May train others in functional area and interact with others across the company and/or externally. May make presentations to department or management.
