Position Overview: PlanITROI is seeking an experienced and skilled ITAD Computer Hardware Production Floor Supervisor to supervise a production team that audits, refurbishes, and repairs Laptops, PCs, and Apple products. The supervisor will create daily work schedules, follow standard manufacturing procedures, and monitor work to meet product specifications and production targets. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of quality, efficiency, and productivity while developing and executing strategies for continuous improvement and expansion.
The ideal candidate will bring extensive expertise in IT Hardware, Laptops, PCs, Notebooks, mobile devices, etc., and a proven track record in managing day-to-day production operations. This role requires a proactive, strategic thinker capable of driving KPIs and fostering a culture of excellence within the team.
Primary Responsibilities
+ Production Leadership: Oversee all Production Departments, ensuring efficient and effective operations across Audit, Refurbishing & Repairs.
+ Software Management: Manage and optimize wiping, testing, and imaging software, ensuring the use of the best available technology to enhance operational efficiency.
+ Inventory Oversight: Monitor and review NB/SYS/LCD inventory levels, ensuring accurate tracking and timely updates.
+ Reporting: Ensure timely and accurate reporting of key metrics to internal departments and senior leadership. Prepare and deliver reporting as requested at internal meetings, and senior leadership.
+ Floor Management: Provide daily guidance and oversight on the production floor, ensuring that all production, audit, QC, and inventory processes are followed, and products are correctly handled and located.
+ Inventory Control: Develop and manage Non-SN & SN Inventory Warehouse functions, addressing system or human errors, and ensuring seamless operations.
+ Collaboration: Work closely with the Inventory Control and Production teams to address daily operational needs, questions, and issues.
+ Inventory Management: Create and maintain organized physical storage areas for inventory, ensuring efficient placement, staging, and space utilization.
+ SLA Management: Manage team performance and inventory to meet all internal and client Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
+ Repair Oversight: Supervise the repair process for failed units from Production/QC, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
+ Technology Leadership: Oversee third-party testing, wiping, and imaging software, ensuring the use of cutting-edge technology to maintain top efficiency.
Requirements & Experience
+ Experience: Minimum of 3/5 years of experience managing a full production team in refurbishing computers and consumer electronics.
+ Technical Expertise: In-depth knowledge of SofThinks, Aiken, or other wiping, testing, and imaging software, with the ability to build images and manage servers.
+ Microsoft DPK Management: Experience managing Microsoft Digital Product Keys.
+ Leadership: Proven track record in management with demonstrated proactive leadership in a dynamic and growing environment. (Must have the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment)
+ Technical Skills: Experience supervising, training, and mentoring production and repair technicians, with a strong background in computer repair or related technology hardware fields.
+ Infrastructure Knowledge: Previous experience with server and network infrastructure is a plus.
+ Delegation & Results: Ability to delegate tasks effectively and measure results within control limits.
+ Strategic Thinking: Proactive, strategic thinker with exceptional written and oral communication skills.
+ Software Proficiency: Advanced proficiency in Excel and Outlook.
+ Process Improvement: Six Sigma or Lean experience required.
+ Certifications: A+ Certification is a plus.
Candidates must successfully pass a background check and drug screening as part of the hiring process.
