Roles and Responsibilities
ITC (WSK) Responsibilities
The international trade compliance team counsels GE business on global export control and sanctions requirements, applies for governmental export licenses, and provides compliance advice and oversight for international trade activities in the company.Act as an initial point of contact for export compliance matters.Co-own local ITC / WSK policies and procedures.Be familiar with legal acts, and practices.Provides direction, counsel, and support to EDC employees and Management in area of ITC/WSK.Conduct ITS/WSK trainings.Maintenance and continuous improvement of WSK in GECP.Preparing corrective and/or preventive actions.Manage WSK internal auditors and audit process.Ensuring that all transactions with foreign entities are checked in accordance with the procedures set out by WSK: analysis of all orders, inquiries and other transactions and comparing them with foreign Refusal Lists (Lexis Nexis Bridger). Determining when a transaction is not allowed and what type of export authorization is required in each case.Keeping records of exports / trade in goods of strategic importanceKeeping records of foreign purchases.Preparation of mandatory reports required by Government institutions.Be familiar with the export authorizations (licenses, exemptions, exceptions) used within your organizationSubmitting applications for export authorizations.Attend regularly scheduled Engineering Export Compliance Council meetings.Own the list of taggers for EDC organization .Maintaining organization’s Tagger Matrix up-to-date.Interfaces with other functions to provide effective coordination of metrics, dashboards, functional processes, and cross-functional initiative coordination.Manage ITC Focal Point program.Customs & Logistics Responsibilities
Own and manage Customs and Logistics processes and procedures according to GE policies.Monitor and improve processes to achieve required on-time pick up & delivery of goods and zero defects.Collaborate with regional Customs and Logistics teams on reporting and process compliance.Cooperate closely with Logistics and Customs suppliers to ensure effective process operation.Provides direction, counsel, and support to employees in area of shipping, receiving, customs processes.Communicate changes in Policies and Procedures.Manage costs to meet budgets and Op Plans.Manager CBAM reporting.Support audits.Military Concession Responsibilities
Own and Manage local Military Concession process.Register and track all transactions. Maintain required documentation.Support audits.Required Qualifications
Bachelor's or Master's degree from an accredited university.Strong oral and written communication skills in English and Polish.Ability to establish relationships and cooperation with peers and stakeholders.Ability to plan, document and execute processes. Established project management skills.Process and results oriented.Desired Characteristics
Demonstrated ability to analyze and solve problems.Ability to propose different solutions outside of set parameters to address more complicated, day-to-day problems.Experience in Logistics and / or Customs.Experience in ITC and export tagging.Knowledge of WSK regulations.Experience in Lean management.Benefits:
