ITCD Specialist (Co-Occurring Disorders)
Job Description: ITCD Specialist(Integrated Treatment Co-Occurring Disorder) Columbia, Missouri Monday-Friday 8am-5pm Are you passionate about helping individuals diagnosed with persistent mental health, addictions, or co-occurring disorders? Join our team as an ITCD Specialist where you will provide individual and group therapy, along with information/education services to support our clients on their journey to wellness. Responsibilities: + - Provide individual therapy, group treatment, and family interventions for clients with co-occurring disorders within the Integrated Treatment team. + - Conduct co-occurring assessments upon entry into ITCD services for each individual, ensuring comprehensive treatment planning. + - Deliver assertive outreach, offering practical assistance and connecting clients with community services that meet their specific needs, fostering trust and building strong relationships. + - Manage a regular caseload, working closely with supervisory staff to determine the appropriate size and nature of cases. + - Collaborate with team members on the ITCD team, providing cross-training on co-occurring disorders to enhance knowledge and expertise. + - Actively participate in emergency services, providing rapid aid during emotional crises to ensure the safety and well-being of our clients. Qualifications: + Qualified Mental Health Professional, which is defined as:An individual with a Master's or doctorate degree in counseling and guidance, vocational counseling, pastoral counseling, rehabilitation counseling or guidance, psychology, family therapy, or related field, who has successfully completed a practicum or has one year of experience under the supervision of a qualified mental health professional. OR... + Qualified Addiction Professional (QAP) with one of the following credentials: CADC, CRADC, CRAADC, CCJP, CCDP-D, RADC, or RADC-P Additional Qualifications:- Experience working with individuals diagnosed with persistent mental health, addictions, or co-occurring disorders is highly desirable.- Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with diverse populations.- Ability to work effectively within a team and independently, demonstrating adaptability and problem-solving skills.
