The Senior Business Partner is required to manage, support, and drive Canon UK and Ireland's Imaging, Technologies, and Communications Group (ITCG) revenue and profit through comprehensive analysis, strategic interpretation, and robust financial management.

Responsible for completing the UK, Ireland & Service Centre P&L results, ensuring accuracy and completion. To act as a reliable business partner, supporting the ITCG Controller and building strong, effective relationships with key stakeholders across ITCG, Finance, and the wider Canon business groups.Delivering monthly financial results and comprehensive insights into P&L items. This includes a strong focus on analysing and monitoring actual and forecasted performance against budget and prior year figures for ITCG, both at a UK P&L level and a European fully allocated P&L level.Coordinate and manage the financial budgeting process for ITCG on a bi-annual cycle. Take ownership of the detailed input, analysis, and oversight of the SGA (Selling, General, and Administrative) budget to ensure accuracy, alignment with organisational goals, and actionable insights for decision-making.Provide input to and validate monthly sales forecasts, ensuring they align with the three-month rolling sales forecast. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align promotions and rebates expenditures with the promotional roadmap and customer contracts, ensuring financial accuracy and alignment with strategic objectives.Demonstrate a proactive approach and willingness to propose actions aimed at improving profitability. Take on ad-hoc tasks as needed and contribute as a key team player, supporting collaborative efforts to achieve business goals.Ensure compliance with Canon accounting policies, audit process and continuous development of SOX controls.Deputise for BU Controller when required.
Qualified Accountant (CIMA or ACCA)Advanced Excel modelling skillsExperience using different IT systems e.g. Oracle, Hyperion, Essbase would be beneficial.Previous experience of working in a Commercial Finance / business partnering role with evidence of successA motivated and enthusiastic team player who takes pride in their work, offers support to others and is eager to continuously challenge themselves.
