ITO PMO Project Assistant Intern

Position Overview:

The ITO PMO Project Assistant Intern will be responsible for supporting the ITO PMO team in managing and executing projects, with a focus on financial analysis and PO (Purchase Order) process management. This internship will provide hands-on experience in project management, financial analysis, and operational processes within a dynamic IT organization.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Analysis:

Collect and analyze financial data related to ITO projects, including cost estimates, budget tracking, and variance analysis.Prepare financial reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.Assist in identifying cost savings opportunities and developing strategies to optimize project budgets.

PO Process Management:

Coordinate with vendors and internal stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate processing of POs.Monitor PO status and resolve any discrepancies or issues that arise.Maintain records of POs and related financial transactions.

Project Support:

Assist in the preparation of project plans, schedules, and budgets.Track project progress and report on milestones and deliverables.Coordinate with team members and stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met.

Documentation and Reporting:

Maintain project documentation, including meeting minutes, status reports, and change requests.Prepare and present regular progress reports to project management and stakeholders.

Administrative Tasks:

Support project meetings, including scheduling, agenda preparation, and minute-taking.Assist in the preparation of presentations, reports, and other project-related materials.

Qualifications:

Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.Proficiency in financial analysis, including cost estimation, budget tracking, and variance analysis.Knowledge of PO process management and procurement procedures.Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Familiarity with project management tools and methodologies is a plus.
