Job Overview:
This specialist role plays a vital support function in managing the growing workload and ensuring the continued success of the In-Transit Repair (ITR) operations. The position is responsible for maintaining high standards of efficiency and safety across various areas, with a focus on managing stolen vehicle cases, coordinating storm event logistics, and overseeing complex transportation moves.
Key Responsibilities:
Stolen Vehicle Management
Efficiently manage all stolen vehicle cases, ensuring timely and accurate updates to stakeholders Minimize costs and accelerate claims recovery through proactive communication and issue resolution Lead and oversee a portfolio of 100+ open VINs related to stolen or recovered vehicles, ensuring proper tracking and resolutionStorm Event Logistics Coordination
Coordinate logistics for storm events, collaborating with 3PLs to reroute affected vehicles to dedicated ITR dealers or assigned brand dealers Ensure all diversions are properly documented and that claims are filed by the appropriate providers to support efficient processing and recoverySpecial Transportation (ST) Moves
Manage complex transportation moves that require detailed planning, close monitoring, and coordination with vendors and partners Submit ST requests to the Purchasing team for approval and coordination Track and trace all special transportation moves through to final delivery, ensuring quality standards are maintainedBasic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field 3+ years of relevant work experience (preferably within the automotive industry) Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively Self-motivated with a proven ability to handle conflict and resolve challenges Resourceful in managing complex tasks and assignments with minimal supervision Demonstrated success in achieving results and leading cross-functional teams Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal Strong customer service orientation with the ability to confidently engage and communicate with suppliersPreferred Qualifications:
Experience with data analytics. Outstanding analytical, organizational, and communication skills Ability to identify, prioritize, and manage critical tasks effectively Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, and Word)
